Philippine Lechon

The Philippines is known for its Philippine Lechon. Almost all occasions aren’t complete without it, whether it is a wedding, birthday, anniversary, baptism or fiestas. The Philippine Lechon has different variations depending on what region it comes from. Aside from these two, another famous Philippine Lechon is from Baliwag, which is a part of Bulacan in Central Luzon. Another variation of the Philippine Lechon would be the Lechon Baka which is actually a roasted calf. At present, Filipino creativity has produced a Philippine Lechon manok, which is a roasted chicken.

The Philippine Lechon has a different variety of sauces which are concocted to go with these lechons depending on the preference of the one who eats it. The Philippine Lechon is so famous that even foreigners loved it whenever it is served to them. As a matter of fact, the sauces for the Philippine Lechon are exported because of the Philippine Lechon’s popularity in other countries around the globe. Whenever there are occasions, Philippine Lechon is usually the number one on the list, usually a whole roested calf or a pig in the middle of the table with an apple in its mouth. If you plan on having parties in the Philippines, be sure to have Philippine Lechon to have a great party and also to satisfy most of your guests.
