Peyronie's Disease: New Ideas for Treatment
Peyronie's Disease: New Ideas for Treatment
Almost each day I receive an email from someone with Peyronie's disease that asks something like this: "My MD says he can't help me because there is no approved drug treatment for PD. He says I should wait to see if I get bad enough that I need surgery. That sounds crazy to me! Do you know any natural way to treat Peyronie's disease?" A great question, that shows a lot of common sense and conservative thinking. Too bad more doctors did not think that way. Men with PD are always surprised to learn there is no accepted drug treatment for Peyronie's disease, and are perfectly willing to use Alternative Medicine to treat themselves as a option since there is almost no known risk involved. Since the medical profession does not have a proaven drug to help men with PD, it is very logical to explore other safe and effective non=traditional options. From my own personal experience and after helping hundreds of men who had PD, I have seen there is no one magic therapy you can use. It is essential to use several therapies at once. For years the Peyronie's Disease Institute has found that a wide group of Alternative Medicine therapies provides the best chance for success against PD. While each natural therapy might not be consistently effective, over time it has been demonstrated that when a combination of several therapies are used a great increase of therapeutic effectiveness occurs. In short, experience has shown the best way to treat PD is to use everything you can throw against it. There is no one treatment of any kind - natural or drug - that is a magic bullet. No wonder cures exist for Peyronie's disease. But we have found that aggressive treatment with different types of Alternative Medicine can be effective even in severe cases. The men who get the best PD treatment results are those who treat their problem day after day with as much Alternative Medicine therapy as possible, until they overwhelm the PD scar material so that it is eventually reabsorbed by the body. Slowly they recover, the scar(s) becoming softer and smaller. And slowly they notice the abnormal curvature and pain improve. Some men earn remarkable improvement in many aspects of their PD, while others get only moderate results; few who work dilligently will not be rewarded with some level of success. To learn more about Alternative Medicine treatment, please go to the link for the Peyronie's Disease Institute website, located below. This large website presents a huge amount of hepful and interesting information. Again the quetion is asked, "What is the best way to treat Peyronie's disease?" The answer is that you do all that you can, with as many Alternative Medicine therapies as you can, for as long as is necessary, until the power of your immune system absorbs the fibrous scar in a natural healing reaction. To do less than that is to become a victim of PD and to allow the scar to ruin your life.
